StoryTellers of Sweden

On 22 November the Ministry for Foreign Affairs hosted a worldwide book club - Storytellers of Sweden. During the course of the day various literary activities were arranged, such as panel debates and readings by more than 20 Swedish authors, including Viveca Sten, Lars Kepler, PO Enqvist, Majgull Axelsson and Camilla Läckberg. Readers were invited to take part by submitting questions on Twitter

The event was conducted in English and webcast on www.government.se/storytellers.

"We want to call attention to the power that Swedish literature currently has to reach out and speak to people all over the world with issues and stories that touch and engage," said Minister for Trade Ewa Björling, who was hosting the event.
